Evang. Chukwuemeka Onyegbulam is a decent native of Ohokobe Mbaocha, Ndume Ibeku Umuahia, of Umuahia North local government area, Abia State. And by birth and registration a citizen of Umuewodu Ndiachi Umobor, Umuihe Autonomous Community Akaeze, Ivo LGA, Ebonyi State. Evang. Chukwuemeka Onyegbulam is the second son of Late Mr Emmanuel Onyegbule and Mrs Mary Emmanuel.
Late Mr Emmanuel Onyegbule, held from Abia state, address as mentioned earlier, he left his home town in search of greener pasture in Akaeze Ebonyi State, in where he registered as an indigen of Akaeze. Because of that he got married to Mary his wife from Amiyi Akaeze-Ukwu.
Academically, Evang. Chukwuemeka Onyegbulam went to Umobor Community Primary School Akaeze, from where he got his first school leaving certificate. Akaeze Community Secondary school Iyioji, from where he got his O level certificate.

In advanced certificate, Evang. Chukwuemeka Onyegbulam had the following:
1.) National Certificate on Education (NCE), from National Teachers Institute, Kaduna between 2008 to 2011.
2.) Diploma in Computer studies, from Quicknet Computer Institute, Abakaliki, between 2014 and 2015.
3.) B.sc in political science from Ebonyi State University Abakaliki, between 2016 to 2020.
4.) He also had a Postgraduate Professional certificate in Human Resource Management from Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Lagos.
5.) He is currently an M.Sc postgraduate student of the Ebonyi State Nigeria, Abakaliki, still in the department of political science, majoring in Political theory and methodology, also called Political philosophy.
Currently also, Chukwuemeka Onyegbulam is doubling as an active Evangelist and a government secondary school teacher. He is an Evangelist under the Assemblies of God Nigeria, Ohaozara Zion District, but running his own personal Ministry Called Practical Reality Global as approved by the District he is under since he has no particular church of assignment. And as a teacher, he teaches currently in Umobor Secondary Technical School, Umuegwu Akaeze, and Ivo LGA Ebonyi State Nigeria. His subjects of specification are: Civic Education and Government.
GOAL
To raise a generation of spiritually mature believers who are deeply rooted in the Word of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and committed to living a life that reflects the love, power, and character of Jesus Christ.
We are dedicated to transforming lives through sound biblical teachings, fervent prayers, discipleship, outreach programs, and community development initiatives that bring hope and restoration to individuals, families, and nations.
We aim to create an atmosphere where people from all walks of life can encounter God genuinely, discover their divine purpose, and grow into effective ambassadors of Christ in their homes, workplaces, communities, and beyond.
HISTORY OF PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL MINISTRY
1. Introduction
The history of Practical Reality Global Ministry cannot be stated in isolation of at least a brief history of the personal prayer life of EVANGELIST CHUKWUEMEKA ONYEGBULAM. This is because the historical development of the Ministry is interwoven to the spiritual foundation cum development of Evangelist Chukwuemeka Onyegbulam.
2. A BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF EVANGELIST CHUKWUEMEKA ONYEGBULAM'S EARLY SPIRITUAL LIFE AND DEVELOPMENT
From the early days of my life I surly know that I have a vision to be fulfilled here on earth for God my great creator. At my tender age even though I don't know what this vision is, but it was my ernest desire to live toward the achievement of the vision. Yes! I don't know what the vision is, but there are things I surely know about the vision, things like:
- i. I surely know that I am created to change and to better people's conditions.
- ii. I know that this vision is made for people.
- iii. I know that these people are scattered in different parts of the world.
- iv. I know I am born to not only be a born-again Christian, but that I must be very close to God at all times to enable me achieve this vision and make it come through realistically.
- v. I know also that for me to reach all the people the vision is made for, means that the vision will take me to every part of the world.
The above and little more do I surely know about this vision, but I do not know the full content of what the vision is. As a medium of staying closer to God and as a means of equipping myself to support my innate childhood veiw and mindset I developed as a slogan this saying: "I CANNOT BE SERVING THE GREATEST GOD AND BE OVERCOME OR OVER POWERED BY THOSE SAID TO BE SERVING SMALL AND LITTLE gods". This urge led me into living a prayer life.
3. MY JANUARY PRAYERS
This prayer, I cannot actually say when (on the part of year and date) it started because I started it when I have not gotten the knowledge of keeping records (in writing) my activities with God. But one thing is certain about this prayer; and that is that I have multi-purposes for the prayer yet under one focus.
The purposes include:
- i. As an opening prayer for the year.
- ii. It is a means, a medium and a period to know more from the Lord what the new year have for me and for my people.
- iii. It is an opportunity to pray for those who would want me to pray for them during that time and to inquire of the Lord on their behalf concerning one thing or the other.
The above and more are the purposes for the prayer, but the single focus is to get me closer to God at the beginning of every or each new year. One prayer point is always central and certain that I never fail to pray during this prayer period. This prayer I do present it to God either directly or indirectly, but it usually come specifically from me in a loud voice and with a great shouting and that prayer is: "MY PEOPLE CAN NEVER BE POOR, AND WILL NEVER BE POOR".
4. MY JANUARY 2020 PRAYER: A COINCIDENCE OF THREE CASES
Every move of God in a man's life starts with a burden. I mean a heavy and irresistible burden in that man's heart. This burden could be a burden for yourself, for your family or a burden for others. January 2020 which started on Wednesday was the year my sister Minah Akidi married. Her marriage program ran from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th January 2020.
Because of this, it was on the 12th of January 2020 that I camped on the altar of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Umobor one local church, Akaeze 3 Section, Ohaozara Zion District. That particular week that started from Sunday 12th to Saturday 18th, saw a coincidence of two cases: The case of my sisters and daughters, sister Cordelia Akidi whom the enemy has insisted that she will not marry, and sister Theresa Akpoke who was having challenges in child conception. These two cases were added to my main focus of prayer for every new year; hence the title here is "A coincidence of three cases".
5. THE NIGHT OF 15TH/16TH JANUARY, 2020
The night of 15th/16th, was the D-day that brought the Ministry Practical Reality Global into existence. Incidence of this night was divided into five phases here for good understanding.
6. BEFORE MY REVELATION (PHASE ONE)
The introduction of Practical Reality Global Ministry came thus: On my prayer at about 3:00 am on that 15th/16th night. Before the prayer, I invited sister Cordelia and Mrs. Akpoke to the altar for prayer, they came and led on the altar. I prayed for them, then after my prayer with them I was in deep meditation, thinking of why should these people so close to me have these problems and the Lord seem to be silent. On this, I remembered that these are my people who are seeming to be poor; one marritally poor and the other procreationally poor. On this thought, I jumped up from where I was laying on the altar and shouted in a loud voice "MY PEOPLE CANNOT BE POOR".
7. AFTER THE LOUD SHOUTING (PHASE TWO)
After this great shouting, I led down again. Then after a while, the Lord said to me right in my spirit "You have being shouting that your people shall not be poor for a long time, now I (the Lord) have a question for you, ask Lord I said. He said to me, "who are your people?" The question got me perplexed, I kept silent for a while thinking about many things and many people, and their connections with me, so I said to the Lord, "Lord my people are many". He asked me, "can you show me their list or the list of their names? I kept silent again for a while thinking what the Lord meant since I don't have any list of names, and right in my spirit I know that the Lord also knew I do not have any list of people.
I thought within me, why is the Lord asking me what Himself knew I do not have?. Then I said to Him, Lord do you mean I should write out the names of my people and show them to You? He said nothing. I stood up on the altar, picked a piece of paper and wrote down about 31 names on it and said to the Lord, Father these are my people. Yet within me I was saying that if I had more time for this, I know there are more names which I need to include in the list. The Lord said to me, this is not what I mean.
He asked me: "does it mean that all this while you have been shouting, "My people can never be poor, that you don't even have their list with you? At this point, I said to myself, what the Lord is saying must be greater than what I am thinking and understanding within me. When I thought about this, I said to the Lord, Father help my ignorance, what do You want me to do now Lord? The Lord said to me, buy a book that will be in three levels and in three categories, one shall be called "White book, the other shall be called,"pink book", He didn't tell me the name of the third one immediately, but later.
8. MY REVELATION (PHASE THREE)
After this saying by the Lord, I wanted to prove more what He had said to me, this is because as I said earlier, all these narrated above He had said to me through my spirit, so I wanted to be more sure of what the Lord is saying. For this reason, I prayed to the Lord saying, "Lord if You are really the one saying all these things to me, take me out of the flesh and out of human consciousness, take me completely into the spirit, where I can see You face to face, then we can seat down and discuss this matter well and better.
9. THE ACTUAL REVELATION (PHASE FOUR)
After my prayer, I again laid down on the altar, after a little while, I left my body and went right deep into the spirit. Immediately I went into the spirit, I saw the Lord in the way I have not seen Him before. I saw a man who came toward me right on the altar, because as I was taken into the spirit I saw myself in the spirit yet on that altar I was laying in the physical.
The man I saw was wearing jeans, up and down, (A long sleeve jean, with a jean trouser), immediately He came to me on the altar, He stood beside me, just immediately, a chair appeared beside Him, He sat down and told me that He has come as I demanded, though in that spirit He looked angrily, He holds my ear and rebuked me for not believing Him through my spirit. He sat angrily and with a loud angry voice, He told me to do all He had told me in my spirit. At this time He ordered me back to my body to continue the discussion within my spirit.
10. AFTER MY REVELATION (PHASE FIVE, THE FINAL PHASE )
When the revelation was completed, the Lord ordered me back to listen to what He is telling me through my spirit, then I saw Him left and immediately I saw myself back to my body in the flesh. Right again in my spirit, we started the main discussion of what He wants to do. According to Him, this was what I supposed to have done since. He explained that I ought to have gotten a book where the names of all my people should be registered annually. But since I have not done it, He ordered I should buy three books: White book, pin book, and general book as He named the third later.
He said that the names of my people shall be registered therein yearly with a specific amount as Himself (the Lord will explain each year), and that I should gather my people together each year, invite His servants (men of God), to bless them.
Finally, He said to me: "I want to establish your people in prosperity; they will be your people for now until you gather them together, I will give them my own assignment; then if they carry it out faithfully and reliably, then they shall also be "MY PEOPLE TOO", and the more my assignment they carry out, the more my people they become.
At this time He explained to me that He wants to prove His power, name and word through me and my people if we will accept; He said, He will do it so greatly that the world will know that His word is still Real and Practical today as it has always been. At this point and time, I shouted in a loud voice, "THOU GOD OF PRACTICAL REALITY!!!". And He said to me in a loud voice too: "THAT IS MY NAME". That was how the name "PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL MINISTRY" came into existence.
11. THE PHYSICAL ESTABLISHMENT OF PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL MINISTRY
The Ministry "PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL", was first called "PRACTICAL REALITY PRAYER OUTREACH MINISTRY", between the years 2020 to 2021, before it was changed to the current name "PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL MINISTRY" in 2022. The Ministry started first in the church auditorium of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, Ohaozara Zion District, Akaeze 3 Section, Umobor 1 Local church.
At first, it was not started as a Ministry despite the revelation I saw, rather as a Prayer in the church to help people spiritually in their different needs starting from the church members. After some months of the prayer's existence, the home pastor of Umobor 1 local church stood against the prayer, binding people from coming to the prayer in the church, but to rent a hall if we must continue the prayer. After a little struggle with the church as many wanted the prayer to remain within the church auditorium, while some few people including the church pastor were against the prayer.
On this bases the Lord asked me to lift the prayer from the church auditorium and rent a place to start the prayer as a Ministry, and still become a member of the Assemblies of God Nigeria. For this purpose the prayer was established fully as a Ministry on Saturday 30th October, 2021; under the guest of Evangelist Prince Chikezie Uneke of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, Umuahia Jerusalem District, in addition to many other men of God.
12. PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL MINISTRY RECOGNIZED BY THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD NIGERIA, OHAOZARA ZION DISTRICT AND THE GENERAL NATION NIGERIA.
The Ministry having been established in 2021, remained under tone till 2024, after some group of five persons, made up of both pastors and members, presented what I believe to be an oral petition against me (Evang. Chukwuemeka Onyegbulam) and the Ministry. These was immediately after my wedding that took place on 4th/5th January, 2024. As a result of the petition, I was invited to the District headquarters along with other pastors within the locality where the Ministry is located, (Akaeze in Ebonyi State Nigeria).
After much interrogations from the District Presbytery, the Ministry, "PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL" was adopted and approved by the District to continue functioning as they had nothing against her. Consequently, the District superintendent of Ohaozara, visited the Ministry on 2024 October, to commission the vision of the Ministry, yet under the watch and doctrine of Assemblies of God Nigeria.
Practical Reality Global Ministry in national recognition is registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). The Corporate Affairs Commission is the Nigerian government body tasked with the incorporation, regulation, and supervision of companies, business names, and incorporated trustees, including churches and Ministries in Nigeria. Established under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) of 1990 and updated in 2020, the CAC ensures that all businesses and religious organizations operate legally, transparently, and in compliance with national laws.
The Ministry is equally registered with the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML), which is a regulatory body under the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria. Its primary role is to monitor and regulate Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs) to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) laws. Established under the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022, SCUML is responsible for:
Registration and certification of DNFBPs.
Sensitization of these businesses on their compliance obligations. Monitoring and supervision of DNFBPs' activities related to AML. Conducting off-site, on-site, and spot checks of DNFBPs. Taking necessary enforcement actions to ensure compliance with AML laws.
13. STATISTICAL DEVELOPMENT OF PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL MINISTRY
Registration into the book of Practical Reality started first on first Thursday of 2020 being 2nd of January. The total number of registered members at the end of 2020 were 32 people.
By 2021 the number increased to 42 registered persons, by 2022, Practical Reality Global Ministry had a total registered members of 71, while in 2023, there was a decrease in the number of registered members as the total registered members dropped to 59 persons.
By 2024, we had another increase to the number of a total registered membership of 84 people, finally, by the end of 2025 PRACTICAL REALITY GLOBAL MINISTRY had a total number of registered members up to 98 people. And we are still growing and developing.
